Managing Firm Members > Working with Security Profiles
You are not limited to the security and access rights built into Amicus Attorney by default. You can control the access rights of individual users or groups of users at a detailed level, by assigning different Security Profiles to them. A Profile specifies which particular areas of Amicus Attorney can be viewed, and which particular actions can be carried out.
A Security Profile can include the rights to access Firm Files and/or Firm Contacts (that is, all Files and/or Contacts, including the ones not directly assigned to the Firm Member). The Firm Files and Firm Contacts filtering options will then appear in the user's Files Index and People Index.
