HotDocs

In addition to the merge capabilities with Word and WordPerfect, Amicus features an interface with HotDocs document automation software. During the Document Assembly merge process, Amicus passes selected data into a HotDocs Answer File. For example, when you need to draft a document for a particular File, Amicus passes the specified case information to an Answer File and then merges it with your selected Merge Template to create a finished document.

Later versions of HotDocs offer both Developer and User editions. While Developer edition is necessary for creating templates, User edition is sufficient for generating documents.
