   Customizing the Firm Library


This section is intended solely for Librarians. Firm Members with Librarian status can specify settings for firm-level aspects of the Library by choosing commands on the Actions menu in the Library module: Default Location and Page Types.

For information on the Library preferences available to all Firm Members, see Library preferences.

Default Location

In the Library - Default Location dialog, Librarians can specify a location in the Library structure where new Firm Pages will go by default when they are created from somewhere other than the Library main window. To specify a location, click Browse.

Page Types

Select an option from the dropdown menus in the Default Page Type for new Pages field. A Page Type  characterizes the nature of the Page. Examples include Encyclopedia, Rules and Procedures and so on.

In the Library - Page Types dialog, Librarians can add, modify, or delete Library Page Types.

To add a Page Type, click New. Type a name for the Page Type and then click OK.

To modify a Page Type, select the Page type in the list, and then click Edit. Make your changes and then click OK.

To delete a Page Type, select the Page Type in the list, and then click Delete.
