Getting Around > Basic Amicus Elements > The Modules
The main functional areas of Amicus Attorney are referred to as modules. When a module is opened it is shown in the main window. Switching to another module changes the content of that window, rather than opening a separate window.
Note: Generally, throughout the documentation, Files refers to your client matters, or cases, used in the Files module. When the documentation refers to the computer files you store in folders on your workstation or server, a distinction is clearly made. |
You can easily access a module from the Navigation Pane or the View menu. Also keep in mind that Amicus Attorney is highly integrated—for example, while working on a File you can access the People associated with it, the related Appointments, To Do's, Phone Calls and E-mails, the Library research items on it, the accumulated Time Entries, and so on.

Use the research materials you and your firm have accumulated, as well as online services and Internet sites. |
