Amicus provides support for full-text searching of your documents associated with Files and Contacts or referenced by Library Pages. Configure the Amicus Indexing Service to facilitate this feature—see Amicus Indexing Service.
Whenever documents are added to the indexed folders or their subfolders, either directly or via Amicus, they will be automatically indexed. And whenever documents are removed, they will be automatically deindexed.
Word (.DOC, .DOCX, .DOCM, .DOT, .DOTX)

PowerPoint (.PPT, .PPTX, .PPTM)
Outlook Mail (.MSG) - under 64-bit Windows only

Amicus automatically installs the iFilters needed by your indexing service to support the searching of Microsoft Office and WordPerfect documents.
For full-text searching of PDF documents, you'll need the appropriate Adobe iFilter, depending on which version of Windows or Windows Server runs on your Amicus Server:
32-bit version—If you don't have Adobe Reader on your Server, simply install it and the 32-bit iFilter will be automatically installed.
64-bit version—Download and install the 64-bit iFilter available from Adobe's site:
