  Setting a Milestone Appointment


A Milestone Event is a critical Event that can be created for the past, present, or future. It is not unusual to learn of a time-sensitive event for which the clock has already started ticking. For example, you might be advised a week after your client has been served.

Milestone Events may be used to record dates of service, requisition dates, filing dates, or other events you wish to highlight.

To designate an Appointment as a Milestone Appointment, select the Milestone checkbox in the header section of the Appointment's Event Details dialog.

 

To get a quick outline of these Events at a glance, Firm Members can display the Lists > My Milestone Events view in the Calendar.

Milestone Events are displayed in green, with the word "Milestone" shown in front of the Event Title, for easy identification.
 

A Milestone Appointment is unlike a standard Appointment in that:
