Step 1 - Document Generation Options

If you author Merge Templates, select the default Standard Document Assembly method assigned to new document templates—either Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect, HotDocs with Word, HotDocs with WordPerfect, or HotDocs (Form).

Indicate whether you want the Merge Variables in your document templates to be automatically replaced by Amicus data when you generate a document or an e-mail message.
This means you will not have to click Perform Merge in the Amicus Merge Toolbar in the document to complete the process. However, a separate instance of your word processor will be opened, which is standard behavior whenever a program argument is passed.

Note: The auto-merge occurs in a WordPerfect document only if WordPerfect is not already running when you generate the document.
