HotDocs Advance Integration
With its enterprise-class architecture, HotDocs Advance makes it simple to organize and manage your uploaded templates, launch interviews to gather data, and download assembled documents. Customized documents such as contracts, sales agreements, government forms, and loan documentation can be quickly and efficiently generated and uploaded.
HotDocs Advance makes it easy to create documents across teams of people and multiple departments with a check-in/check-out functionality. It also ensures that the right people have access to the templates at the right point in the process by granting permissions for individuals and groups based on roles.
Integration with Amicus Attorney requires your firm to obtain a subscription for HotDocs Advance, then enable it and launch/install HotDocs Author.
Integrating HotDocs Advance's industry leading document automation technology with Amicus Attorney’s 20+ years of experience gives users access to thousands of premium templates.
Templates are created in HotDocs Author, then uploaded to HotDocs Advance.
A user selects a file, clicks Generate Document, then they select a template under the HotDocs Advance Templates tab in the Generate a Document window and clicks OK.
An Interview is launched asking the user for the information the template requires.

Note: If all the variables for the template can be found from within Amicus, the HotDocs Interview is skipped and the assembled document is downloaded to a Temporary folder and opened so you can view it and save it to a folder. |
The HotDocs fields (placeholders) in the template are replaced with variables found within Amicus Attorney (including custom fields, or the data (answers) gathered in the Interview to assemble a final, customized document for your client.
