Dailies

The Dailies module of Amicus Attorney is an information portal that helps you stay informed in three areas:

It is well worth your while to read the Dailies carefully at least once each day because the Dailies module is a link to content that will help you run your practice and keep in touch with your world.

You can view the Dailies module at any time by clicking Dailies on the Amicus Toolbar. When you choose a Dailies Page on the navigation list in the control panel at the left, the contents of that Page appear at the right.

The Dailies Pages

When you first start using Amicus, the Dailies module is set by default to open to the Today's Practice Reminders Page. This default is a preference setting that you can change. Today's Practice Reminders alert you to important items about the state of your practice such as Unposted Time Entries.

The Dailies module also includes a Today's Overview Page, which provides information on your key practice issues for the day. You can see:

You may also display Dashboard Pages. A Dashboard is a single screen display that shows a variety of interactive Amicus data and/or external information at a glance. You can now customize Dailies with one or more Dashboards that reflect the type of information that is most important or relative to your day-to-day practice. For your convenience several Dashboards are provided. You can use these, or design your own from available data list views, summaries, tools, your favorite websites, new item data entry, and much more. The easy-to-use Dashboard Designer lets you be creative. You can control the size, color and location of each section. For details, see Dailies Pages preferences and Designing a Dashboard.

Through the Firm News Page, your firm can distribute important information such as firm news, announcements, or reminders to every Firm Member each day.

The Dailies module is also a portal for accessing Web pages. You can add your favorite Web pages as Pages in the Dailies module. If you click on one of these links, the associated web page will be displayed within the Dailies window. Therefore, the Dailies module can serve as a starting point for research and exploration of the Internet. If you right-click on the Web page, your usual Internet Explorer shortcut menu commands will be available.

Setting your preferences

You can use preference settings to customize the Dailies module to your personal requirements. For information on setting these preferences, see Dailies preferences.
