  Creating and editing Merge Templates


You can add and edit Merge Templates for your own use, or for selected Firm Members. Each Amicus Merge Template record (Amicus Standard Template) has:

Important: You must have direct access to the firm's Document Server when authoring Templates.

You can edit the attributes of the Merge Template in the General, Availability, Extended Fields, and Map views.

Note to HotDocs Users: Later versions of HotDocs offer both Developer and User editions—while Developer edition is necessary for creating templates, User edition is sufficient for generating documents.
